Thematic roundtable | Cultivating continuity – one year after
23 October – 9.30
The Thematic Round Table “Landscape Design and Time” will concern the issues of making landscape, here intended in the sense of its production and its continuous transformation depending on a project, that is to say on a complex prefiguration of places, resources, spaces, nature, constructions, physical and cultural relationships, elaborated by design experts able to integrate competences on the basis of a shared vision of the future from which the actions, processes and forms of the territory derive their sense. That project is in particular an open project expressing a need to adapt to changing conditions, prefiguring and activating processes, generating alive places. It operates in the complexity of a system of relationships that are consolidated, modified, integrated or interrupted over time always responding to various conditions, uses, sensitivities and cultures.
The debate will so focus on some areas of reflection concerning the “Time Forms in Landscape Design” in order to recompose the infrastructural role and the temporal component in the making of landscape.
