In the wake of the first edition, Urbanpromo Green renews the exploration of the innovations produced by sustainability policies in urban and territorial planning, in urban and architectural design, in construction techniques and in urban services provisioning.
The event is set in a broad and at the same time selective way. Urbanpromo Green is wide because it ranges from green and blue infrastructure to urban security, from the use of new information and communication technologies to urban form. On the other hand, it is selective thanks to its original initiatives, unknown or still little known outside of its context and identified through the qualified network of relationships developed by the INU, its members and universities at national level.
Urbanpromo GREEN is promoted by Università IUAV di Venezia and INU – Istituto Nazionale di Urbanistica (National Institute of Urbanism), a public body by right, characterized by an high cultural level and of technical coordination, and it is organised by Urbit – Urbanistica Italiana srl (Italian Urbanism srl), instrumental society for INU for the performance of cultural events and activity of consultancy. URBIT is a noprofit organisation, which eventual profits will be used to sustain the cultural activities of INU.
