“Heroic viticulture: from grape to wine through sustainability and quality”
For the first time the seat of the International Congress represents small islands, one of the characteristics of heroic viticulture. The archipelago of the Canaries is formed by seven islands with unique characteristics in the world, not only for the vineyards situated until 1700 meters above the sea level or in slopes of over 30% or terraces, but also for the high biodiversity level and for the presence of autochthone vines all on foot, since phylloxera didn’t reach these places. Unique territories, some of which have been declared Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, that have given place to landscapes of extraordinary beauty and great value.
Participants who wish to present their reports or posters must submit their abstracts to the Scientific Committee no later than 30th November 2017 by email to the following address: segreteria@cervim.it.
Abstract acceptance and instructions for the oral or poster presentation will be notified from 15th January 2018. The Conference proceedings will contain all oral and poster presentations.
