Election of UNISCAPE’s Executive Board and Director
According to art. 8.2 of UNISCAPE’s Statute, “the Executive Board is composed of the President, the Vice-Presidents and eight representatives appointed every three years by the General Assembly among its own components. Candidates may be reappointed for the duration of one further term”.
During the meeting on the 15th of October, the General Assembly of UNISCAPE will nominate the eight representatives, while the President Carlo Magnani and the Vice-Presidents Annalisa Calcagno Maniglio and Florencio Zoido will remain on office until the 2012 General Assembly (according to art. 7.2 of our Statute).
After its election, UNISCAPE’s Executive Board will choose amongst its Members the Director for the next three years.
Please remember that, according to the Letter of Recommendation signed by UNISCAPE’s President and Director and approved during the last Executive Board meeting, representatives who are not able to be present in UNISCAPE’s Meetings shall delegate a colleague (part of their institution) or another UNISCAPE representative to act on their behalf (informing the staff with a written communication prior the meeting).
